Resident Fires At 3 Intruders At 1AM, Striking One

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA — Early Tuesday morning, an attempted burglary at Mission Place Apartments in northwest Oklahoma City resulted in a shooting, with one suspect injured and two others fleeing the scene.

Around 1 a.m., three individuals attempted to break into an apartment near Northwest 36th Street and MacArthur Boulevard. A confrontation ensued between the intruders and the resident, leading to the resident shooting one of the assailants.

The injured suspect was hospitalized; their condition remains undisclosed.

Authorities are currently searching for the two remaining suspects, whose identities have not been revealed.
