EDGEFIELD, S.C. — Conservationists, outdoor enthusiasts and turkey hunters from across the country set an all-time attendance record of 72,243 during the NWTF’s 48th Annual Convention and Sport Show, hosted in Nashville, Tennessee, Feb. 15 – 17. This year’s attendance broke the record of 67,368 attendees, set just last year during the organization’s 50th Anniversary.

“We are immensely thankful for the record-breaking number of passionate folks who came together in Nashville this year to celebrate the incoming spring season and the life-changing power of the outdoors,” NWTF co-CEO Jason Burckhalter said. “Coming on the heels of our 50th anniversary year, the energy from our annual event has ushered in a whole new era for the NWTF. We will continue to push boundaries and break barriers so that our great organization continues to grow and deliver its mission on never-before-seen levels.”

Each year, NWTF volunteers, partners and avid turkey hunters congregate in Nashville to celebrate the incoming spring turkey season and all of the great things the NWTF stands for: wild turkeys, conservation, the soul of the American hunter, sharing the outdoors with the next generation, an unfaltering desire to leave the land better than we found it and uniting a nation through the life-changing power of the outdoors.

This year’s attendees spent time attending conservation and hunting seminars, auctions, live music, and checking out products from the over 500 exhibitors on the show floor, among much more.

It’s not too early to start planning your trip for the 49th annual NWTF Convention and Sport Show, Feb. 12 – 16, 2025, in Nashville. Stay tuned as the NWTF will be announcing more information in the near future, and room blocks at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Hotel sell out as early as August, so do don’t wait!
