Dallas Safari Club Heartland Chapter Donates ,500to Support Youth Education Through the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation

The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) is proud to recognize the Dallas Safari Club (DSC) Heartland Chapter for its generous donation of $9,500 in support of youth education and the future of the shooting sports.

The contribution will help strengthen SSSF’s youth development programs, the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP), which provide safe, educational, and competitive opportunities for thousands of student-athletes across the country each year. Through participation in the shooting sports, athletes develop leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and sportsmanship while learning the importance of firearm safety, ethical behavior, and stewardship of our outdoor traditions.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support of the Dallas Safari Club Heartland Chapter,” said Rick Leach, SSSF President and Executive Director. “Their investment in our programs helps us educate and mentor the next generation while reinforcing the values that have long been the foundation of the shooting sports and outdoor community.”

The Dallas Safari Club Foundation is committed to supporting organizations that advance conservation, education, and advocacy. Through its support of SSSF, the Heartland Chapter is helping introduce young people to the lifelong values of safe firearm handling, responsible participation in the shooting sports, and an appreciation for wildlife conservation and our outdoor heritage.

By investing in today’s youth, the Heartland Chapter is helping ensure tomorrow’s hunters, competitive shooters, conservationists, and outdoor leaders understand the important role education and responsible participation play in preserving our sporting traditions.

The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to the Dallas Safari Club Heartland Chapter for its partnership and commitment to empowering youth through education and the shooting sports.

About the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation

Provide and enhance personal growth and development opportunities for student athlete members; become the premier authority in all things pertaining to firearm-related pursuits for youth; pass on to future generations the legacy of lifelong, safe, responsible enjoyment of the shooting sports. This includes serving as the primary feeder/pipeline for organized, sanctioned shooting organizations and teams, like USA SHOOTING, TEAM USA, and the NGBs (NSSA, NSCA, ATA).
