U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Partners to Unveil 2026-2027 Federal and Junior Duck Stamps in St. Augustine, Florida

National leaders from Ducks Unlimited, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bass Pro Shops, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, U.S. Postal Service and other partners will officially unveil the 2026-2027 Federal and Junior Duck Stamps at Bass Pro Shops in St. Augustine, Florida.

Officials will be on hand to celebrate the first stamps of the year, which will be available for sale at the event, open to the public.

The Federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp, commonly known as the Duck Stamp, plays a critically important role in wildlife conservation. Since 1934, sales of this stamp have raised more than $1.2 billion to conserve over 6 million acres of wetland habitat on national wildlife refuges nationwide.

Federal Duck Stamps, while required by migratory bird hunters as part of their annual license, are also voluntarily purchased by birders, outdoor enthusiasts and fans of national wildlife refuges who understand and value wildlife habitat conservation.

The artwork for the Federal Duck Stamp, the nation’s only federal conservation revenue stamp, is chosen annually during the only juried art competition sponsored by the federal government. The winning artist’s work is featured on the following year’s stamp.

The Junior Duck Stamp Conservation and Design Program is an arts and science curriculum taught in schools and other venues. The winning art for the Junior Duck Stamp is also chosen through an annual contest. Junior Duck Stamps are sold to fund conservation education and wetland exploration nationwide.
