ICAST 2026: Showcasing Serious Saltwater Performance & Value

SEVIIN to unveil all-new NAUTREX saltwater spinning reels at ICAST 2026

PARK FALLS, WIS. (June 23, 2026) – When you’ve thrived as an American, family-owned, premium fishing brand for nearly 80 years, we don’t believe you should do anything that might jeopardize your name or risk hard-earned angler trust. So, when the St. Croix Family of Brands launched SEVIIN Reels three years ago, reliability was chosen as a hallmark of the brand. It wasn’t an arbitrary decision. Just as St. Croix exercises complete control in its persistent pursuit of the BEST RODS ON EARTH, SEVIIN Reels makes every decision from your perspective as an angler. Put simply, if it doesn’t make you better and keep you on the water longer, it doesn’t go into our reels. We design for the utmost in reliability, then test every iteration of pre-production reels – on the water and in our state-of-the-art reel-testing laboratory in Park Falls, Wisconsin – before any SEVIIN reel ever reaches our dealers’ doors or your hands.

MEET THE ALL-NEW NAUTREX

The challenge? Make high-performance SEVIIN saltwater performance available to all anglers by designing and building the best $100 saltwater spinning reel on the market.

Nearly four years in development, all-new NAUTREX Series saltwater reels are a reality, poised to deliver class-leading performance, rigidity, and reliability among graphite-bodied $100 saltwater spinning reels. A unique polymer in its Graphite Chassis body and rotor provides unrivaled stiffness for smooth operation, gear isolation, and confidence under load while remaining exceptionally lightweight.

Inside, NAUTREX doubles down on angler satisfaction with a premium Carbon Glyde drag stack that delivers consistent performance from start-up to lockdown. SEVIIN’s TruTorque precision gearing yields maximum longevity, combining with 6+1 premium stainless-steel bearings for smooth operation and exceptional feel. Strategic gasketing affords protection from saltwater intrusion to key mechanicals.

Outside, NAUTREX employs a ported rotor, skeletonized aluminum spool, and a custom aluminum handle to minimize weight without sacrifice to strength. An EVA PowerBall on all NAUTREX models keeps anglers firmly in control.
