ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – May 27, 2026 – SK Guns®, the Nation’s only series-driven, limited-edition manufacturer of custom firearms, is proud to announce the fourth installment of its Saints Series. The new San Miguel Arcángel (translated: Saint Michael the Archangel) is a limited production of only 500 Colt 1911s chambered in .38 Super.
San Miguel Arcángel, or Saint Michael, is one of the most important figures in the biblical tradition. He is known as the leader of God’s heavenly army and the protector against evil. His name means “Who is like God?” which reflects his loyalty and devotion to God. Saint Michael appears in the Bible, particularly in the Book of Revelation, where he defeats Satan in a great battle between good and evil. Because of this, he is often represented with a sword, armor and wings, standing triumphantly over a dragon or demon.
“Throughout history, San Miguel Arcángel has inspired churches, artworks and festivals around the world. In many Hispanic cultures, he is deeply respected and celebrated with religious processions and community events,” said Simon Khiabani, owner and founder of SK Guns. “His image symbolizes hope, faith and the victory of good over evil. Today, San Miguel continues to be a powerful spiritual figure for millions of believers who look to him for guidance and protection in their daily lives.”
Details on each side of the gun’s slides in 24k gold plating include the Michaelmas Daisy flower, and the forward sides of the slides are engraved with a shaded old floral scroll. On the rear left panel is the Mission San Miguel Arcangel, which was the sixteenth California Mission to be founded, also in 24k gold. On the rear right panel, the gun’s edition number is inside a scroll engraved in a biblical style.
San Miguel Arcángel is engraved in 24k gold, covering the front top of the slide. Below San Miguel Arcángel are heavenly clouds. He is depicted wearing armor, with his wings spread, while thrusting his sword into Satan, the fallen angel, portrayed in flames at the bottom of the slide.
The frame, slide and select control are all highly polished in a deep Colt Royal Blue finish. The controls are in 24k gold. The gun is made complete with a gold Colt Rampart medallion inserted on purple Kirinite grips representing spirituality, faith, peace and calmness.
