NASP® Announces 2026 National Tournament Series and Expanded Scholarship Opportunities

March 3, 2026 – The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP®) is looking forward to the 2026 national tournament series and a significant expansion of student scholarship opportunities. NASP® continues to bring safe, in-school archery instruction to more than 1.2 million students annually across 50 U.S. states and several international locations. Since its inception in 2002, NASP® has impacted over 24.7 million students.

Each year, student archers look forward to participating in local, regional, state, and national tournaments. NASP® is very excited about the upcoming 2026 national tournament series, which promises not only world-class competition but expanded scholarship pathways to post-secondary education.

The 2026 national tournament series will begin with the Western National Tournament at the Mountain America Center in Sandy, Utah, April 23-25. The series continues with the Eastern National Tournament at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky, May 7-9. The national season will culminate with the NASP® Championship Tournament at the Ocean Center in Daytona, Florida, June 18-20.

Each tournament will include both NASP® Bullseye and the NASP® 3D competitions.

2026 Scholarship Opportunities – Bigger Than Ever

For 2026, NASP® is expanding its scholarship programming to recognize excellence and participation in both Bullseye and 3D divisions.

Random Scholarships: In 2026, NASP® will magnify its popular Random Scholarship program, with awards now offered to both Bullseye and 3D archers. 185 random scholarships will be drawn from among all archers participating in the Western and Eastern National Tournaments and announced after the Eastern National Tournament, through email to coaches. Drawn randomly, these awards ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to benefit. Simply competing in a Bullseye or 3D round will be the only requirement for eligibility.

Scholarship Shoot-Off: The Scholarship Shoot-off at the NASP® Championship Tournament continues with the exciting addition of a 3D shoot-off. The top five male and top five female archers in both Bullseye and 3D—determined from the combined results of Eastern and Western Nationals—will compete on Friday night for scholarships ranging from $5,000 for first place to $1,000 for fifth place. This expansion helps ensure that outstanding performances in both divisions are recognized and rewarded on the national stage.

Team Scholarships: NASP® further celebrates the collective achievement of entire teams through its Team Scholarships program, growing to include teams in NASP® 3D. The top three high-scoring teams in both Bullseye and 3D will be determined at the conclusion of the Eastern National Tournament, based on the combined scores from Western and Eastern Nationals. Up to 24 archers on each winning team will be awarded scholarships.

Thousands of scholarship dollars will once again be awarded to student archers thanks to the generosity of dedicated NASP® scholarship sponsors. These valued partners make it possible to offer individual, team, and random scholarships that reinforce the program’s strong emphasis on post-secondary education and career training.

“NASP® scholarship sponsors help us stress the importance of post-secondary decisions for our participants,” said NASP® President Tommy Floyd. “We love the idea of a student turning their passion for archery into an opportunity to expand educational options down the road. Continued support from our wonderful sponsors and partners ensures that student success on the range will someday lead to meaningful opportunities for their future education.”
