RMEF Acquires OutdoorClass Online Learning Platform, Expands On-Demand Courses

MISSOULA, Mont.  — Furthering its commitment to hunters and hunting heritage, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation now owns RMEF OutdoorClass®, the leading online learning platform dedicated to individuals who desire to improve their skills in the field. Defined by video courses led by experts such as John Barklow, Corey Jacobsen, Randy Newberg and Remi Warren, RMEF OutdoorClass® delivers real-world knowledge and reflects RMEF’s mission to promote ethical hunting practices, conservation and stewardship of wildlife resources.

“RMEF was founded by hunters, is driven by hunters and wants hunters to be successful in big game country,” said RMEF President and CEO Kyle Weaver. “With RMEF owning and leading the development of RMEF OutdoorClass®, we can offer best-in-class instructional content tailored to a variety of big game species and hunting methods, and we can make it available 24/7.”

Subscribers can access RMEF OutdoorClass® content anytime from smart TVs, desktops and mobile devices, and offline viewing allows hunters to receive tips and tactics even in the backcountry. Current topics range from elk, mule deer, white-tailed deer and pronghorn hunting to backcountry survival, e-scouting, fitness and cooking. A $69.99/year subscription provides access to hundreds of classes, all taught by hunting and outdoor authorities. Current RMEF members receive 30 percent off a subscription by entering RMEF30 at checkout.

RMEF will continue to expand RMEF OutdoorClass® courses to cover even more topics, with new content regularly available online. Coming soon are classes on spring bear hunting with Jason Matzinger, turkey hunting with Nate Hosie and backcountry equine skills with Kristy Titus.
