Delta Waterfowl Welcomes Regional Director for the Dakotas, Montana, and Nebraska

A South Dakota native, Blake Ketterling brings more than 20 years of fundraising experience to the role

BISMARCK, NORTH DAKOTA — Blake Ketterling has joined The Duck Hunters Organization as a regional director dedicated to supporting Delta’s volunteers throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Nebraska.

In his new role, Ketterling will oversee Delta’s existing chapters and establish new ones across his region. His primary focus will be organizing successful fundraising events that advance Delta’s mission of producing ducks and securing the future of waterfowl hunting. Before joining Delta in a full-time role as regional director, Ketterling served as a volunteer for the Aberdeen chapter of Delta Waterfowl for more than 12 years.

“We are excited to welcome Blake Ketterling as the new regional director at Delta Waterfowl,” said Carey Egeland, Delta’s director of events for the west team. “Blake brings not only a passion for Delta’s mission but also extensive volunteer experience that reflects his long-standing commitment to waterfowl conservation. His knowledge of Delta’s programs and proven leadership make him exceptionally well-suited to serve our members and advance our goals across the region. We’re confident Blake will make an immediate and lasting impact in the region.”

Born and raised in South Dakota, Ketterling’s passion for the outdoors has been a cornerstone of his life. From chasing ducks and geese with his father as a child to sharing those same experiences with his wife and children, he has always embraced the values associated with hunting, fishing, and conservation.

“I really enjoy fundraising, especially when it goes to great causes. Through different organizations that I’ve been a part of, I’ve been involved with banquets for over 20 years,” said Ketterling. “I finally get a chance to do it full time, and I find it very rewarding. As a passionate duck hunter and mentor for youth in my area I’m very excited to be able to blend my hobbies and career.”

Ketterling currently resides in Aberdeen, South Dakota, with his wife, children, and their 4-year-old black Lab, Duke. When he’s not working, you can find him field hunting for Canada geese, fishing from his boat for walleye, ice fishing, or spending quality time with his family outdoors.

Blake Ketterling can be reached at [email protected].
