The Turducken of Outerwear

Turducken (noun): a boneless chicken stuffed into a boneless duck stuffed into a boneless turkey. Shacket (noun): a versatile, shirt-like garment that’s a combination of a shirt and a jacket.

Now available, the new TUO Guide Lite Shacket is best fitted and looking garment in this burgeoning category.

MUSKEGON, MI (August 11, 2025) – You have a winner on your hands when style, fit, performance, and features come together into the perfect product. That’s the new Guide Lite Shacket from TUO, the manufacturer of elite outdoors and hunting apparel.

“Beyond wearing it in the field, it’s a great everyday jacket for cool weather,” said TUO Marketing Director, Steve Allie. “And it really looks good on.”

Constructed of a 100% 20D nylon shell, the Guide Lite Shacket is cut and sewn to TUO standards, meaning it’s not only snappy looking, but also wears like your favorite flannel shirt. The outer fabric is also treated to shed moisture and resist stains.

The ruggedly stitched jacket’s warmth stems from a lightweight and breathable 40g Paralite™ insulation. Premium Paralite is a lightweight and breathable insulation that provides a higher fill power than similar weight polyester insulations, providing a lighter, warmer garment with less filling.

Poignant features include a snap closure front for easy on and off, as well as snap closures cuffs and placket. A tall collar for added wind protection, which can be likewise folded down to smack of a collared shirt.

There’s no shortage of pockets, either. The Guide Lite Shacket’s five pocket design includes two chest pockets with snap closures, pair of open storage/hand warming pockets, and one interior zipped pocket for valuables.

In summary, TUO Guide Lite Shacket is a warm, comfortable, and stylish reflection of your outdoor lifestyle. Welcome your new favorite shirt…or, um, shacket.
