Houston, TX – April 28, 2025 — The Hunting Matters podcast is proud to welcome Dave Fulson, legendary outdoor communicator and lifelong conservation advocate, as its latest guest. Fulson, a Texas native with more than four decades of experience in hunting, media, and conservation, brings a powerful voice and global perspective to the show.

In this compelling episode, Fulson discusses his journey from the Texas plains to the game fields of four continents, offering insights into the crucial connection between ethical hunting and sustainable wildlife conservation. As the co-owner of Safari Classics Productions and host of award-winning series such as Tracks Across Africa and World of Sports Afield, Fulson shares behind-the-scenes stories, reflections on African adventures, and the importance of preserving hunting traditions through media, advocacy, and education.

A prolific writer and photographer, Fulson has earned numerous accolades, including the Golden Moose Award, the John T. Amber Literary Award, and most recently, the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. He currently serves on several industry and conservation boards and remains an active voice in public land stewardship and international wildlife advocacy.
